Bus: The nearest bus stop is a 5-7 minute walk from the synagogue. Buses run frequently from Central London, Camden Town, Cricklewood and Golders Green and include routes 13, 46, 113, 139, 187, 189 and 274.

Underground: The nearest underground stations are St John’s Wood (Jubilee Line), a 12-15 minute walk from The LJS, and Baker Street (Jubilee, Central, Metropolitan, Bakerloo), a 15-20 minute walk.

Car: There is limited parking on St John’s Wood Road and the adjoining side roads, free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays, unless there is a major cricket match at Lord’s. There are ample pay-by-phone parking places during the week (click for details); these operate until 18.30. However, St John’s Wood Road itself is a Red Route and cars can only be parked without payment after 19.00.

Disabled parking: There are disabled parking bays directly opposite the synagogue, under the control of Westminster Council.

Bicycle: Cyclists are encouraged to use the LJS cycle racks. For security reasons, please dismount before entering the forecourt. There is also a TFL London cycling scheme docking station (for collection or return) opposite the synagogue on St John’s Wood Road.

The LJS operates a discretionary fund for the elderly or infirm who are unable to afford private transport but are dependent upon it to enable them to attend religious services and other activities. For more information, please contact the office on 020 7286 5181.
