Willesden Jewish Cemetery, next to the LJS cemetery at Pound Lane, will open shortly as a heritage site for the public. Sunday 26 May will be their first ‘Inheritance Day’ and they are inviting people who have relatives buried there to visit for this first open day. During the day, the gate between our two cemeteries will be re-opened, having been buried for more than 50 years. This will allow visitors, on this and other special occasions, to move freely between the two spaces, visiting family and finding out more about our rich, shared heritage. Entry is free.
